Advanced ENT is Hiring a Surgery Scheduler Near Woodbury, NJ
Our high paced surgery scheduling department is looking for an experienced scheduler. The surgery department is responsible for complex scheduling spanning over multiple hospitals, ambulatory service centers and office procedures. The candidate must have extensive surgery scheduling experience with multiple physicians and facilities. Works in conjunction with physicians and hospitals/facilities while adhering to insurance company guidelines. Schedules patient surgeries according to department policies. Coordinates and schedules pre-operative laboratory and other testing. Acts as a liaison between Physicians and hospitals/surgery centers as needed. Verifies insurance and eligibility as needed. Obtains all necessary consents prior to surgery. Assures that surgeries are pre-authorized and all pertinent coverage information is obtained. Adheres to patients' protected health information (PHI) in all activities in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards
