Responsibilities

The Site Production Manager is responsible for all production, shipping and other departmental employees in the plant for Flexstorm located in Naperville, IL. They lead team to attain plant goals including safety, quality, housekeeping, and production. They are a coach that assists teams with problem solving activities. They will lead the employees in motivation, job training and perform performance reviews. They will implement lean manufacturing systems and procedures. Must interact with other departments to ensure Quality of product produced. The Flexstorm Site Production Manager is responsible for developing the culture of the facility and providing direction and leadership for the operation by practicing ADS Core Values.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Utilize 6s to drive Safety and housekeeping to company standards
• Communicate and drive annual KPI targets and track results
• Ensure weekly schedule for production is in accordance with the set production plan
• Drive production and shipping efficiencies
• Maintain spending within the budget
• Create and maintain relationships with 3rd party vendors for supplies and services
• Maintain storage and capacity issues
• Develop strong teams to ensure Quality of product produced and shipped
• Seek improvements throughout the organization
• Monitor production output and train to improve efficiencies
• Understand and practice ADS Core Values.
• Maintain accurate records for inventory and maintain employee records
• Annually provide performance evaluations and goals for all direct reports
• Management of employees as required

Educational Requirements:

• College degree or 6 years’ experience in a fast-paced production working environment
• Preferably plastics background

Preferred Experience:

• Some trade or apprenticeship experience
• 6 years Supervisory experience

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift a maximum of 90 lbs
• Ability to work 40 hour per week
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time

Ability to speak clearly, bilingual a plus
