Responsibilities

This internship position will be working with our Inside Sales Engineer team. This team supports the sales department, works with our field engineering team and our manufacturing engineering team. This team will be responsible for reviewing civil site plans for construction projects across the United States and Canada that could include parking lots for big box stores, warehouse projects, residential subdivisions, apartment projects, athletic fields and even professional stadiums. This position will be responsible for calculating an accurate bill of materials (take-off) and will work with our sales reps to determine the proper products and solutions for a successful installation of our products. The bill of materials will contain all components of a storm water management system including capture, conveyance, storage and treatment. 

Qualifications 

• This position is open to undergraduates and graduate students in at least their junior year.
• Preferred Majors: Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to work without day to day direction
• Utilize layout software (Blue Beam helpful)
• Strong verbal and written skills
• Can do attitude
• Strong initiative
