We are Advanced Dermatology and we are looking for a candidate with experience in billing and coding to join our incredible billing team. Dermatology experience, a plus. The candidate must have an inquisitive mind, loves problem solving, and ready for a challenge.

The ideal candidate for this position is experienced in billing/coding. Dermatology experience preferred, but not required. Additional experience in insurance verification is helpful.

This is a full time position, 8a to 5p, Monday through Friday. This employee will work out of our Pearland location. (Right off of 288, 12-15 minutes from the Medical Center.)

Requirements

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or equivalent education (examples include: GED, verification of homeschool equivalency, partial or full completion of post-secondary education, etc.)

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 2 years billing experience preferred
• dermatology experience preferred, but not required

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED

• Billing or Coding certificate preferred, but not required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

• Demonstrates the skills and competencies necessary to safely perform the assigned job, determined through on-going skills, competency assessments, and performance evaluations.
• Sufficient proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing the English language necessary to perform the essential functions of this job, especially with regard to activities impacting patient or employee safety or security.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, family members and co-workers in a manner consistent with a customer service focus and application of positive language principles.
