**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in dental assisting, dental imaging, and infection control procedures and an eagerness to learn new technology skills.

**Duties:**

- Assist the dentist and dental EFDA's during a variety of treatment procedures

- Set up and prepare equipment for dental procedures

- Take and process X-rays

- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures

- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations

- Perform office management tasks that often require the use of a personal computer

- Communicate with patients and suppliers (e.g., scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, and ordering supplies)

**Experience:**

- 2 years prior experience as a Dental Assistant

- X-Ray certification required

- Familiarity with Eaglesoft dental practice management software is a plus but not manditory

- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and infection control protocols

- Ability to assist with pediatric patients is a huge plus

- Proficiency in taking vital signs and maintaining medical records
