Subject matter expert on USAF and Joint Force Generation and Force Employment principles.
The Contractor shall have no less than fifteen (15) years of DoD experience.
The Contractor shall hold a Master's degree(s) (MA) from an accredited university or equivalent service academy.
The Contractor shall be responsible for assisting in developing, coordinating, and advising on the implementation of policies to provide air, space, and cyberspace power expertise supporting the CSAF, AF/A3 and Numbered Air Force Air Component Commander and Staffs, focused on the near-term time horizon (0-24 months) and current operational challenges with respect to Force Generation and Force Employment.
The Contractor shall advise the Joint Staff and Combatant Commanders during operational planning and analysis in order to provide optimal recommendations for USAF Force Generation and Force Employment capabilities against global operational challenges.
The Contractor shall provide advice and assessments in order to ensure Force Generation and Force Employment inputs are strategically and operationally sound, logistically feasible, supportable, and sensitive to Title 10, Title 22, Title 32 and Title 50 delineations of responsibilities.
The Contractor shall provide rapid support and reach back in support of planning, contingencies and exercises to Unified Command Headquarters and Joint Force Air Component Command staffs with respect to Force Generation and Force Employment operational concepts.
The Contractor shall provide operational perspective and advice to USAF CHECKMATE as the office advises the SECAF, CSAF, AF/A3 and other senior leaders on the force employment of USAF capabilities for achieving necessary Joint Warfighter effects taking National, Department of Defense and USAF strategy, doctrine, policies, concepts and objectives into consideration.
The Contractor shall provide SME level support on the establishment, revisions, and reviews of operational plans, policies, procedures, mission objectives, and organizational design for the staff, as necessary, eliminating problems or barriers to successful USAF Force Generation and Force Employment mission accomplishment.
The Contractor shall attend weekly directorate-level staff meetings and provides SME level support and advice during frequent intra-organizational sessions to share information and recommend staff actions with respect to the USAF Force Generation Model.
The Contractor shall provide support on Checkmate’s interactions with senior management at the Colonel, General Officer and Senior Executive Service level as they participate in a variety of organizations and groups within and outside the USAF to include OSD, JCS, CCMDs, Major Commands, Component Numbered Air Forces, Partner Nations, and inter-agencies.
The Contractor shall prepare position papers and present high-level briefings of conclusion that may be conceptual and untested pending vetting, verification, and operational proof of concept.
