Advanced Autism Center for Treatment is Hiring a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Near Chandler, AZ

  • Hours: Flexible schedule — full-time or part-time; your schedule is up to you!
  • Pay: $48/hour (W-2)

What you’ll be doing:

At AACT, our SLPAs, deliver a quality in-home, teletherapy, community-based therapy services for clients in the areas of speech, language, voice, fluency, and/or pragmatic language skills.

  • Execute treatment plans/goals as developed and directed by supervising SLP
  • Educate and train parents/caregivers
  • Complete electronic documentation for weekly sessions and quarterly services (SOAP notes and progress reports). This includes collecting data and documenting goal-based performance.
  • Use Google Drive (docs, sheets, slides, calendar, meets, etc.)
  • Collaborate with other therapists and supervisors in a respectful manner
  • Demonstrate effective and appropriate communication skills with clients, families, AACT employees, supervisors, etc.
  • Participate in collaborative meetings with supervising SLP, direct and indirect, to review goals/treatment plans, SOAP notes, progress reports, client progress, questions, concerns, etc.
  • Track SLP supervision hours on provided tracking sheet to ensure the proper level of supervision is maintained

Education, Preferred Skills, and Role Expectations:

  • Associate/Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program
  • Valid Arizona SLPA Licensure/Certification
  • Training and experience working with the pediatric population presenting with a variety of delays/disorders (e.g., ASD, Down syndrome, cognitive delays, etc.) with deficits in the area(s) of speech, language, voice, fluency, and/or pragmatics.
  • Reliable transportation
  • Willingness to collaborate with other members of the AACT AZ team (e.g., supervisors, ABA therapists, intake department, office staff, etc.)
  • Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • CPR/1st Aid, HIPAA, and Article 9 Training (preferred)

Additional Skills and Job Requirements:

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25lbs

Work Location: Multiple Locations

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
