Advance EMS is looking to add a part time/PRN Wheelchair Van driver to our hard-working Field Personnel crew.

Shift can begin as early as 0430 AM

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Carefully & safely transport non-critical wheelchair and ambulatory patients to their medical appointments between Corpus Christi & Surrounding areas.

* Operate wheelchairs including but not limited to lifting and pushing, pulling, basic assemble and dissemble.

* Complete required documentation and acquire signatures on assigned computer devices while keeping the confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

* Obey traffic laws.

* Maintains vehicle and equipment in a constant state of readiness and cleanliness

*Performs other duties as assigned to include general housekeeping chores and special projects.

Requirements:

*CPR Card or willing to obtain with in the first 60 days of employment

* Able to work with computers and tablets.

* Clean Driving & background record

* Good knowledge of the Corpus Christi area and its main healthcare facilities

* Able to read maps and follow written and verbal directions in order to respond in an efficient and safe manner

* Compassionate with patients and respectful of others

* Dependable & Punctual

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

• Patient Transporter: 1 year (Preferred)
• Wheelchair Van Driver: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

• Spanish (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Texas Driver's License (Required)
