THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Software Developer, you will be strong leaders who can prioritize well, communicate clearly, and have a consistent track record of managing and delivering scalable, high-performance enterprise-level solutions. Ideal candidate would have hands-on using Java, Microservices, Springboot, and APIs with a team of other Software developers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: other duties may be assigned:

• Design, develop, and implement high-quality APIs that meet business requirements and performance standards
• Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
• Troubleshoot and debug API issues, ensuring timely resolution
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in API development and integration
• Work closely with a nimble team of software engineers and enterprise architects to ensure the solutions meets our business needs using Agile methodologies in a fast-paced environment
• Coordinate with Security Architecture and Engineering functions regarding the selection and implementation of applicable controls
• Plan for and work flexibly to deadlines
• Maintain a leadership expertise on current technology, trends, and best practice
• Hands-on development using Java, Spring, SpringBoot, MicroServices and Openshift with a team of Software Engineers, Architects and DevOps Engineers
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, including services like Azure API Gateway, and Azure API Management
• Deep understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices
• Experience with API documentation tools such as Swagger or API Blueprint

• E-commerce Application Development
• Analytic and algorithmic thinking
• Basic DevOps experience

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3-5 years of experience
• Or, equivalent combination of experience and/or education

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This position will not be responsible for managing a team or direct reports.
