Job Description

Role:

The role of this position is to interact with Construction Managers, Construction Project Engineers, the Construction Operations Supervisor, and the Director of Construction to analyze project spend and budgets to ensure accurate spending and forecasting. The Construction Operations Analyst will provide support in others but will be mainly focus on the accounting and financial relative to construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Reports to Construction Operations Supervisor
• Assist in assembling construction financial and cost information and developing reporting on findings
• Assist Real Estate Coordinator in day-to-day construction accounting tasks such as:
  · Reporting
  · Processing purchase orders and invoices
  · Store setup items
• Work with trash provider to ensure waste management is set up for new store openings and removed for store closings.
• Assist Construction Project Engineers with financially closing purchase orders and projects
• Ensure POs are closed and projects based on new accounting guidelines
• Provide reporting that allows tracking of construction deliverables and new accounting guidelines are being followed, and calling out potential risks.
• Assist the Construction Managers on their utility request forms for new stores

Required Skills:

• Knowledge and experience using MicroSoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Office36, etc.)
• Attention to Detail
• Some accounting administration background
• Passion for improving processes within a team

Additional preferred but not required skills:

• Experience using project management databases and tools
• Lucernex
• Microsoft Project
• Officetrax
• Some utility coordination experience
• Some experience using accounting processing tools such as Oracle, PeopleSoft, etc.
