Advance Auto Parts is Hiring a Remote Asset Protection Coordinator (Remote in NC/VA)

Job Description

The AP Coordinator is a liaison role between Asset Protection and our supply chain and retail operations. Primary responsibilities include partnering with the business operators, distribution centers, internal accounting, and our vendors to ensure that our security systems are working as designed. This is accomplished throughout the organization by working with our stores and vendors. Additionally, this role may include daily interactions with our Accounts Payable team to assure timely and accurate processing of invoices. The Specialist will be expected to complete position responsibilities with a medium level of interaction with direct leader.

This position is remote for candidates that reside in either the Raleigh, NC or Roanoke, VA areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Serves as a liaison between Accounts Payable and our vendors daily in the invoice processing process.
  • Works extensively in Officetrax opening tickets as well as partnering with Internal escalations and the stores to resolve any Security Services related events.
  • Tasked with assigning stores under the correct District to standardize our call trees within our monitoring systems.
  • Supports store calls involving time sensitive issues to include opening tickets for keys, locks, detex, safes, commercial buzzer systems

  • Ability to leverage business tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Tableau, etc.) to support data analytics execution and measurement of results.
  • Assimilate and synthesize data and information into a decision-making framework.
  • Developing understanding of business mathematics and basic project accounting principles.
  • Developing critical thinking skills and the ability to escalate patterns to leader for review.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills; ability to effectively and cultivate relationships with internal and external customers to achieve business objectives.
  • Developing organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments, deal with interruptions, and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work both individually and in a team environment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma
  • 1-3 years of experience

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
