Adult Neurology Center is Hiring a Medical Assistant Near Washington, PA
Seeking a dynamic, customer oriented, full-time Medical Assistant for our Washington location. Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm work schedule - no weekends! A competitive wage is offered. Great benefits with 401K. The following experience is required: BACK OFFICE – patient prep, obtaining vitals, administering injections, verifying and entering clinical information in the EHR, and completing other tasks under the direction of the neurologist FRONT OFFICE – answering phones, scheduling appointments, entering past medical history into the EHR, insurance verification, Radiology authorizations and proof-reading clinical notes. One year of medical office experience REQUIRED. Successful completion of medical assistant certification testing preferred. Wage based on experience. Certified Medical Assistants have the opportunity to negotiate starting wage with proof of active certification.
