Description

Adult & Child provides on-site behavioral health services at over 100 schools in central Indiana. We are currently hiring a School Based Therapist to help students manage their behavioral health needs, so they can be more successful in the classroom. Our Therapists are supported by a team of Skills Development staff and other therapists, who work with the students throughout the school day to reinforce the treatment plan.

Our full-time exempt (salaried) School Based Therapist helps to support our mission and team so we can work in the most efficient and effective way. You will work Monday - Friday, during school hours, but have the opportunity for flexible scheduling. You will work primarily out of the schools you provide services in but we will also have an office location available.

What You'll Do

• Provide clinical services and evidence based/best treatment to assigned caseload including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, therapy, skills development and case management services
• Provide crisis intervention/emergency services by assessing risk, development of safety plans, reporting of any abuse or neglect, coordinating hospitalization or any other emergency situations
• Communicate and collaborate with collateral contacts by consulting with providers regarding integrated health, current function, medication related- issues, educations support and any other care related to client/families
• Provide both individual and family therapy
• Complete clinical documentation timely and accurately, maintaining ethical standards of Adult & Child

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or related behavioral health field
• License eligible in Indiana required
• Interested in helping students, grades pre-K through 12th, with behavioral health needs
• Must hold a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and provide own, insured, transportation
