Opportunity at a Glance
The Admissions Specialist (AS) plays a key role in the prospective student experience from inquiry to enrollment. Reporting into the Associate Director of Graduate Admissions, the AS is responsible aligning the student experience from hand off from the SUP team, partnership with the Admission Operations team with the core outcome of converting high quality prospects for the Adtalem Medical and Veterinary institutions.
As a highly skilled, individual contributor, the AS is charged with inquiry outreach, interview scheduling and submission, new student conversion and campus relationships for both their prospective students and overall prospective students through a high-performing team of Graduate Admission Advisors.
This includes but is not limited to advising and building relationships with prospective students, interviewing eligible students, providing excellent customer service via email and phone calls, and utilizing Internet applications and student databases.
Under the overall direction of the Associate Director of Graduate Admissions and the Institutional Director of Admissions, the AS is charged with implementing new student initiatives including the student ambassador program, new student welcome webinars, and admissions support for each new student cohort for their respective medical or veterinary programs American University of the Caribbean, Ross University School of Medicine, and Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.
We expect the AS's to be collaborative, high performing in all aspects of role / team and TEACH value ambassadors. In that vein, the AS will help all peer colleagues in Student & University Partnerships, Admissions Operations and fellow AS's in representing a prospective student process is both successful and compliments our brand.

Additional InformationIn support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $51,962.
03 and $93,918.96. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training;
