Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain Python-based software solutions for media-related projects, including content management systems, video processing tools, analytics platforms, and more.
2. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including media producers, content creators, and technical teams, to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and code.
3. Design, implement, and test robust, scalable, and efficient Python applications and APIs to support various media workflows and processes.
4. Integrate third-party APIs, libraries, and services into existing systems to extend functionality and improve efficiency.
5. Optimize software performance and scalability to handle large volumes of media content efficiently.
6. Troubleshoot and debug issues, and provide timely resolution to ensure smooth operation of media systems and applications.
7. Stay updated with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in media and software development, and propose innovative solutions to enhance product offerings.
8. Collaborate with other developers, designers, and stakeholders in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
9. Document code, technical specifications, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintainability.
10. Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and adhere to coding standards and best practices.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Python Developer, with a focus on developing software solutions for the media industry or related domains.
3. Strong proficiency in Python programming language and related frameworks/libraries such as Django, Flask, NumPy, and Pandas.
4. Solid understanding of media formats, protocols, codecs, and standards (e.g., MPEG, H.264, HLS, DASH).
5. Experience with media processing and manipulation tools such as FFmpeg, OpenCV, or similar.
6. Familiarity with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB, and proficiency in SQL.
7. Knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
8. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
9. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
10. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
2. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
