Job Description: As an Experienced Veterinary Assistant, you will be an integral part of our clinic, working alongside our veterinarians to provide high-quality care to our animal patients. Your responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities:

• Assisting veterinarians during examinations, surgical procedures and monitoring anesthesia.
• Administering medications and treatments as directed by the veterinary team.
• Preparing and maintaining surgical suites and equipment.
• Taking and processing radiographs and lab samples.
• Monitoring and caring for hospitalized patients.
• Providing support to clients and addressing their concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of patient information.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant.
• Strong knowledge of veterinary medical practices and procedures.
• Proficiency in animal handling and restraint.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping.
• Certification as a Veterinary Assistant is a plus.
