Company Description

We are a litigation firm located in Seattle, WA. We run a robust general civil litigation practice in diverse fields, including business, securities, real estate, and insurance litigation. We are also often retained as trial counsel for other law firms. We practice throughout King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a civil litigation attorney with at least three (3) years of civil litigation experience. To get a feel for incoming hires, we initially hire on an hourly 1099 basis. After some time with the firm, we can convert the role to a full-time W2.

This role requires the attorney to take cases from beginning to end, including client interaction, pleadings, motion practice, discovery, witness depositions, pre-trial motions, mediation, arbitration, and/or trial. The attorney is expected to have a high-level view of each case and create a plan of action to push the matter forward.

Qualifications

• Active and in good standing with the State Bar of Washington.
• At least (3) years of experience in civil litigation.
• Experience in motion practice, including dispositive motions.
• Experience with discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery and taking and defending depositions (including 30(b)(6) depositions).
• Exceptional organizational ability and the capacity to manage a caseload and meet deadlines.
• Experience in mediation and arbitration.
• Having tried civil cases is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
