Admiral Merchants is a long-standing company based in downtown Minneapolis that offers truckload and LTL service, with a variety of specialized equipment available for shipper loading. We are currently looking for an individual to join our Permit Department to help facilitate the movement of freight by coordinating permits for drivers.

• Secure over-weight/over-dimensional (OW/OD) permits for our driver and agent partners.
• Assists agents and drivers with any questions about OW/OD freight and escorts.
• Ensure loads are moved in accordance with state permit regulations and company policies.
• Assist with permit and escort billing and ensures that state escrow funds are funded and current.
• Attention to detail and the ability to read and understand road maps and routing information.
• Handle billing ensure all permits are being billed correctly to Contractors and Customers.

Previous experience in transportation, specifically dealing with permit ordering is preferred but not required.

Must be able to handle high volume of calls and emails while providing dynamic customer service.

Typing accuracy is required.
