Adler Pelzer Group 1 is Hiring a Continuous Improvement Engineer Near Eudora, KS
- Provide a management role for advanced product development from concept to product validation.
- Overall responsibility to manage research and development of materials and processes.
- Coordinate with Corporate Human Resources with regards to development, training, recruitment, and evaluation of personnel.
- Responsibility to manage personnel within his/her department as well as manage projects within their respective department.
- Technical management and development of materials and suppliers.
- Coordinator between European and North American Operations pertaining to material and process research and development.
- Interface with research and development personnel in NA plants to help initiate continuous improvements.
- Effectively evaluate cost and reduce where necessary while continuously improving quality of HP Pelzer materials, processes and parts.
- Work with equipment manufacturers and design groups related to area of responsibility.
- Support Sales on vehicle projects and new business development.
- Assist quality in achieving TQM goal and a zero defect product.
- Required to adhere to applicable TS16949 requirements.
- Required to adhere to all safety requirements and ISO 14001 requirements.
