Sheet Metal HVAC Mechanics (Duct Installation)

AdKore has a need for Sheet Metal/HVAC Mechanics/Duct Installers (Journeyman and Foreman) on several projects in the Macon area. This is a temp to permanent offer so permanent hire you'd have to be within driving distance to Macon and surrounding areas

Monday - Friday; 8 - 10 hour days. There is no per diem for this job but if you're on the road and from the Macon area, and looking to be close to home, then this is the project for you. Long term work with permanent opportunity.

Must be versatile enough to work with all types and sizes of duct (linear grills, mounting boxes, tie in work, flex install and sheet metal duct)

This position requires the following:

• Journeyman Sheet Metal Mechanic 
• Lay out, fabricate when necessary, read prints and drawings
• Hang/install/connect duct
• Tie in and finishing work
• Work efficiently and safely, follow OSHA standards
• Installation of HVAC equipment, duct. (Set curbs, DOAS units, rooftop packaged units, ductwork, VRF equipment, kitchen hoods, grease duct and make up air, air curtains, exhausts, wall heaters, etc.)

Requirements

• Have ALL hand tools and PPE
• Must be able to work from and operate lifts
• Have reliable transportation and be dependable enough to be at work every day, on time.
• Be able to pass drug screen and background check
