Now hiring individuals to work with people with disabilities in multiple programs! We have both part-time and full-time positions available and provide all training needed. We are looking for individuals who live in the Stanislaus area. We are looking for caring and compassionate people with a high level of integrity to work in our Independent Living Services program as a Direct Support Professional , assisting adults in their homes and communities with maximizing their independent living skills. This is a very flexible position with most all work conducted during the weekdays at client residencies, in the community, virtually, and from home.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
We have several openings for Direct Support Professionals supporting people in our Independent Living, Supported Living, Crisis Response, and Transportation programs. We have both full time and part time work available. These programs are rapidly growing and offer opportunities for career advancement.
Services provided are dependent on the needs and preferences of the individuals we support, but may include assistance with:

• Grocery and household shopping
• Meal preparation and cooking
• Safety awareness and preparedness
• Budgeting and bill payment
• Household maintenance and organization
• Accessing community resources
• Problem solving
• Social skills
• Medical and dental appointments and follow up
• Pharmacy interfacing and medication management
• Self-advocacy
• Transportation
• Behavioral intervention/support
• Crisis prevention and response
• Learning and exercising personal rights and responsibilities
• Other supports as needed to help individuals successfully meet their goals

Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must possess a valid CA drivers license and insurance
• Must pass a drug and background screening

This is a GREAT opportunity for anybody interested or with experience in the following sectors: Social work, sociology, nannying, behavioral health, behavioral intervention, teaching, community service, disability therapy, behavior technician work, medical assistance, tutoring, youth work, hospice care, social sciences, psychology, applied behavior analytics, life coaching, therapy. Or for anyone with an associates degree, high school diploma, and seeking more person centered experience.
