Preferred qualifications include a relevant associate's degree and / or pertinent experience / education in the human service field.

Position Summary : This position requires excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn / provide a strength-based approach when interacting with enrolled families.

The Family Worker wilt establish and maintain a positive rapport with all parents and community partners. He / she will assist parents / caregivers, in identifying goals and will develop and implement a partnership agreement that will lead the family to successful goal attainment.

The Family Worker will also support and encourage volunteerism in all aspects of the program. He / she will be an effective member of the site team and wilt support the Head Start philosophy.
