Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as the Director of Social Services. As the Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our social services department. This is a leadership role that requires strong relationship management, program development, and administrative skills. Duties:
- Develop and implement social service programs to meet the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities
- Provide supervision and guidance to social services staff
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure coordinated care and support for individuals
- Manage program budgets and ensure financial resources are allocated appropriately
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized service plans for clients
- Monitor program outcomes and make necessary adjustments to improve effectiveness
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Serve as a liaison between clients, families, and community resources
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Stay up-to-date on best practices in social work and behavioral health
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in social work or related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Knowledge of program management principles and practices
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities and their families
- Experience in budgeting and financial management
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
