Adidas is Hiring a Senior Manager Digital Marketing Planning Near Portland, OR

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Marketing Planning delivers plans, processes and capabilities, aligned with the strategy, to ensure a premium consumer experience. The aspiration is to define and build a consistent Digital direction with optimal priorities, leading to one seamless experience across all consumer touch points.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with DTC Marketing and Brand Media teams as well as eCom and Retail teams to align plans and secure inputs and feedback for activation planning and market deviations.
  • Consider both brand strategy and channel targets, identify risks, flag concerns and find solutions. Represent the NAM Digital perspective when providing input to global and local cross-functional teams.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and be the connection point between NAM Digital Marketing and local Buying&Planning, Merchandising, Business Units as well as global teams.
  • Lead the Go-to-Market-process for the NAM Digital Marketing team and optimize the overall process with related global and local interactions and feedback loops.
  • Present and share plans in various forums and ensure the related priorities are clear across the teams.
  • Develop a new data and insights process in collaboration with the Analytics team and compile key learnings and insights through retrospective reporting, measuring the success of the plan to enhance future planning.
  • Champion innovation in omnichannel strategy & planning, continuously improve seasonal planning and ensure a consumer first mindest to support program evolution.
  • Partner with global and local teams to advocate and rollout new planning platforms and processes, aiming to enhance omnichannel efficiencies.
  • Lead the team with clear shared goals, foster a collaborative environment and drive team success with development and individual growth.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Highly collaborative with very strong communication skills, both in person and remotely
  • A track record of stakeholder management with various levels of seniority
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and untangle complex situations into actionable activities
  • Ability to think and act strategically and ability to prioritize and delegate high numbers of tasks with varying workload and importance
  • Strong process design and management skills with ability to spot weak points and to implement optimizations
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines with strong organizational skills and proactive management
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment and prioritize project/initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • High resilience and solution oriented attitude
  • Strong leadership skills and proven track record of developing direct reports
  • Digital, Retail and Media acumen, ability to understand consumer behavior across the ecosystem
  • Previous experience in Project Management / Marketing Planning / Digital / eCom
  • Comfortable working with enterprise-level platforms and technologies
  • Advanced skills in MS Office
  • Fluent in English both verbally and written

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Four year college or university degree preferably in a Marketing/Business/Digital/Retail discipline
  • Minimum 8 years experience in Project Management, Marketing Planning, Digtal, Retail
