JOB DESCRIPTION: Laser/Press Brake Operator

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Coordinates with Fabrication Supervisor to run CNC programs for Bystronics Laser Machine or Press Brakes

· Set up and operate CNC Lasers or Press Brakes

· Check accuracy of work using blueprints

· Locate and move raw material with pallet jack or forklift

· Must be familiar with Steel and Aluminum fabrication and machine shop processes

· Checks and makes required control settings

· Perform routine maintenance on machine

· Inspect raw material and finished product. Record inspected results

· Provide daily production reports

Skills:

• Must have 2 years minimum experience on Bystronic Lasers
• Must know how to use Bystronic Bysoft 7 Software
• SolidWorks experience preferred.
• Ability to convert DXF files into machine files is required.
• Must have Hi-Lo experience (required for loading materials)
• Must be able to read build prints.
• Ability to convert DXF files into machine files is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Experience:

· Manufacturing: 2 years

· CNC Laser/Press Brake: 2 years

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
