The Registered Sonographer operates complex equipment to produce high quality sonograms. This individual collaborates with the Radiologist, the manager, and the staff in developing, implementing, and evaluating department procedures and protocols. This position has direct patient care, access to confidential patient information and makes decisions independently and in collaboration with the Radiologist, the manager and the staff. This individual works under the indirect supervision of the Radiology Manager.
Required Educational Degree:

Major/Area of Concentration:
Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Required Certifications, Credentials and Licenses:
RDMS-Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer must achieve both credential for physics and one correlating specialty according to ACR accreditation standards.NT certification required within 12 months of hire - OB/GYN Only
Required Certifications:
BLS - Basic Life Support
Preferred Experience:
1-2 years Diagnostic Medical Sonography
