The Director, Occupational Health is responsible for the overall operational, quality and financial management of Adena Occupational Health clinics. The scope of care serves to meet the needs of area business and industry injury care services. This position is responsible for day to day operations and ensures compliance with all regulatory /accreditation standards and Adena Health System policies. The Director, Occupational Health leads the strategic planning and quality improvement process by setting goals, promoting employee engagement and enhancing intra system communication. Decisions are made independently or in collaboration with others. Accesses confidential, organizational information and health system funds.
Required Educational Degree: Bachelor's Degree
Major/Area of Concentration: Business Administration
Preferred Education: Master's Degree in Health/Business Administration or related field
Required Experience: 3-5 years management experience
Essential Job Functions:
Drives system wide Occupational Health growth and innovation through meeting community and business partner needs.
Establishes, achieves, monitors and reports Occupational Health specific metrics consistent with Adena Health System strategic and operational objectives in collaboration with physician leadership.
Management development through coaching, education, competency, performance evaluations and work plan development.
Develops and manages capital, operating and FTE budgets.
Ensures appropriate staffing levels and productivity metrics.
Proactively and effectively communicates with members of the Occupational Health team including staff, management, physicians, and contract services.
Departmental compliance with Adena Health System policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
