Adelphi is seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to provide medical services at a detention center in Clark County, Nevada.

Requirements:

Masters Degree in counseling, social work or related field
Active license: LCSW, LCPC, LMFT
Must reside in Clark County, Nevada

Responsibilities:

Conduct face-to-face contact with juveniles in booking who are in crisis.
Assist in admitting juveniles to a psychiatric facility or arranging transportation to a hospital in the case of immediate danger.
Periodically review referrals in the clinical dashboard.
Review Youth Screening Instrument for warning signs and assess the mental health needs of juveniles on suicide watch.
Place juveniles on suicide watch and code them appropriately if they are at risk.
Conduct daily assessments for juveniles on suicide watch.
Provide suicide risk assessment, suicide prevention, and crisis intervention
Any other duties as assigned by the facility manager.
