Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling and possess the corresponding State of Michigan licensure (LLMSW, LLPC, TLLP, LMSW, LPC or LLP) within a 60-day training period beginning on the date of hire.
- Candidates must obtain the Qualified Mental Health Professional credential within 120 days of hire.
- Must possess a CAADC credential, or be on an active, approved registered MCBAP certification Development Plan within six weeks of hire.
- Must have one year of experience (may include time spent in fieldwork or internship) treating or working with people who have been diagnosed with mental illness and substance use disorders.
- Additional requirements include: cultural competency, the ability to work effectively with a diverse population, the ability to engage and maintain therapeutic relationships with individuals and families in a variety of modes of treatment, the ability to develop collaborative relationships with other unit staff and providers, and a willingness to be flexible.
- Cannot accept candidates who are on student/work visas, and/or require sponsorship to work in the U.S. at this time.
