Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present written reports (containing student progress, assessment, etc.) to student Individual Educational Plan (IEP) team meetings
- Conduct classroom observations in accordance with the service minutes in each student’s IEP
- Teach teachers and parents self-care activities, and how to adapt the classroom environment to support instruction
- Conduct workshops and in-service training for teachers and parents to educate and enhance the understanding of occupation therapy issues
- Provide both formal and informal consultative services to school staff, parents, and professionals in the community
- Administer Sensory Processing/Modulation and Praxis Assessment, Motor Skills Assessment, School Participation, and Performance Assessment, and Developmental Assessment
