Cotterman Company, has openings for full-time hire positions to perform as Robotic Welders and Material Handlers. Once trained, there is an excellent opportunity for growth into higher production positions such as skilled trades and MIG Welding. These are 1st and 2nd Shift positions and will receive a shift premium of $1.00 for 2nd Shift .

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Operate, load, and unload robot according to work orders.
• Inspect parts for missed welds. Ensure welds are according to Engineering Drawing.
• Replace consumable parts of robot (gas, wire, etc.).
• Install fixtures and complete minor set-up adjustments.
• Assist in the assembly, tagging, shrink wrap and shipping of ladders.
• Deliver finished parts to proper stores location.
• Position is responsible for using hand tools and equipment.
• Maintain equipment and tools used.
• Move materials / ladders from one work area to another as needed.

Job Requirements:

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• Good hand and eye motor coordination.
• Be familiar with powered machinery and powered / manual hand tools.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand / sit at static work location for extended periods.
• Able to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Mathematical ability to count accurately and use measuring tape.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation.
• Ability to work with others to maintain a positive work environment.
• Must be reliable with excellent attendance. Employees with attendance issues will not be considered.
