Adecco Medical and Science is hiring an Associate Patient Care Coordinator in Denton, TX . This role will be onsite. Please see below and apply with an updated resume for consideration.

Type : Three-month contract with opportunity for extension or full-time offer

Hours : 8AM - 5PM Monday - Friday

Pay : $19.00 per hour

Specific Duties :

• Greets and welcomes patient in person
• Collects demographic and insurance information
• Checks in or interviews patient to complete appropriate paperwork
• Directs patient to their appointment or procedure
• May assist in scheduling add-on appointments
• Verifies eligibility and benefits information for payers and interprets results
• Obtains signatures from patients as needed
• Collects co-pay or deductibles and respond to questions regarding financial assistance programs available. Refers complex questions as needed
• Uses resources, tools, and procedures to complete accounts in assigned work queues
• Assists patient in completion of request for information forms and submits to appropriate department
• May gather medical record information from all departments for collection

Education / Requirements :

• 6 months of customer service experience in an office environment
• Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Intermediate level of proficiency with computers (dual monitors, navigating between multiple programs, etc.)
• Ability to work 40 hours per week 8 am to 5pm
• Must be 18 years or older
• All TB blood test, MMR, Varicella, Hep B titers, respirator medical clearance required.

• Insurance experience
• Revenue Cycle Experience
• General office experience
• Primary Care experience
