Position Summary:

To assist the Manufacturing Supervisor or Operations Manager in coordinating and improving the operation of the department, primarily in the areas of planning, administration, training, and technical problem solving. Will be key in the process of both training and employee development. Must also be technically competent and perform technical functions (run machines, deburr, inspect, assemble, etc) as required. This leadership position will provide our people valuable experience needed to assume higher roles of responsibility in the organization.

Essential Job Functions:

• Perform supervisory responsibilities for the department as required.
• Participate in the job planning process and assist with job setup.
• Provide employee performance feedback to their supervisor/manager.
• Participate in the interview and employee selection process.
• Demonstrate leadership in adherence with ADDMAN Precision's Engineering’s safety policies and housekeeping practices.
• Assist in the training and development of department personnel.
• Support company policies and procedures.
• Promote effective team building within the department, as well as with other departments in the organization.
• Assist with technical solutions and problem solving in the department.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or apparent.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• A two-year technical degree and at least four years of relevant experience, or six years of relevant experience in appropriate technical area.
• Possess the written, verbal and interaction skills necessary to work both independently and cooperatively.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Possess strong organizational and planning skills.
• Promote a team oriented work environment.
• Be willing and able to support the department work schedule and be flexible to possible changes in the work schedule.
