Addison Group is seeking an Sr. Accounting Associatefor our client located in Edina, MN. The Sr. Accounting Associate is responsible for performing essential duties including but not limited to, managing all AP/AR invoices at a high level and full cycle, posting to the GL, reconciliations, JE, and month end close. This role also requires advanced Excel knowledge/experience (Pivot Tables & VLOOKUP's required at minimum). This role works closely with multiple departments and reports to the Controller. The salary for this position ranges between $50,000 - $65,000 per year depending on experience.
Responsibilities:

• Manage all vendor interaction, entire procurement cycle, reconcile vendor statements and maintain Vendor accounts.
• Prepare analyses of activity in GL accounts and monthly reconciliations.
• Sharp problem- solving skills paired with a proactive mindset.
• Very strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
• Previous exposure to working job costing, sales & use tax, GAAP, and Financial Statements is a plus.
