Position: Clinical Medical Coder
90 days onsite for training, then onsite 1 day/week
Type (Contract/Contract to Hire): C2H
Hours: 8 hrs/day—40hrs/wk. Specific times can be discussed with supervisor
EMR software: EPIC but not required, if do not have EPIC they will be training
Productivity Expectations: 2.3/hr and 95%
Certifications: CPC Preferred, open to CPC-A
Top 3 things the client wants to see on the resume:
- Clinical coding experience w/ some hosp. exp. (may be asked to jump in on a few hosp. visits)
- Someone who has a good work record, and does not hop around a lot
- Needs to be reliable, as well as, willing and eager to learn
- 1-3 experience coding for GI preferred
- 1-3 experience coding for Hepatology preferred
- Preferred experience coding in endoscopy, colonoscopy, and upper endo. preferred
Pay: 25-30/hr
