Dental Billing Specialist | Tulsa, OK

***Oral Surgery Billing Required***

Pay: $18-$23/HR, DOE

Monday – Thursday 8-5, Fridays 8-12 with Remote Fridays once probation period has ended***

Medical Billing Rep Duties:

Responsible for ensuring optimal and timely reimbursement by maintaining accurate client eligibility information, working aged receivables, posting payments, resolving errors before claims are filed, and following up on claims, denials, payer correspondence, and authorizations. Work closely with the Supervisor Reimbursement to improve processes, efficiencies, and productivity.

This position performs various tasks, including the following:

· Works various system reports to correct or add information as needed to patient accounts

· Posts adjustments

· Works credit balances

· Provides backup for commercial/Medicare eligibility verification

· Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate would have 2 years’ experience in a medical or behavioral health setting, and be familiar with commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid. Experience with payment posting and adjustments would be a plus. They should be detail oriented, able to work independently and multi-task. Accuracy and efficiency are a must! Basic Excel skills are required.
