Addington Place at College Harbor is Hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Near Saint Petersburg, FL

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team at Addington Place at College Harbor. As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will play a crucial role in helping patients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve their overall physical well-being. You will work closely with patients, assessing their needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic exercises and techniques to promote their optimal health and mobility.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy services as assigned under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist.
  • Compliance with federal and state regulations, professional guidelines and code of ethics for the profession of physical therapy and provision of physical therapy services.
  • Compliance with EHSI and PSRS policies and procedures.
  • Attend meeting and inservices as needed as directed by FRC.
  • Complies with laws and regulations applicable to position and act in accordance with Corporate Compliance Program.
  • Ability to interact and communicate with various levels of staff in the organization.
  • Able to communicate, direct, motivate and build team relations.
  • Sound clinical judgment relating to the provision of Rehabilitation services.
  • Collaboration with member of the interdisciplinary team in delivery of patient care to maximize functional outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited therapy program.
  • Licenses / Certifications:
  • State of Florida credentialing/licensure as required.
