Addictive Desert Designs is Hiring a Senior Accountant Near Tempe, AZ
The Addictive Desert Designs (“ADD”) group is one of the fastest growing businesses in the automotive aftermarket/adventure van space and is currently seeking a Senior Accountant. The Group, which includes ADD, DV8 Offroad, Flatline Van Co and Rago Fabrication is expanding organically and is still aggressively pursuing acquisition targets. Summary of Key Responsibilities: As a Senior Accountant you will focus and assist in day-to-day accounting, month end and bookkeeping operations for the group of companies.
Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Account reconciliations and analysis
- Assistance with month-end reporting
- Complete projects in timely manner with detail and accuracy
- Communicate any issues or concerns you discover with colleagues and management in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Act as a liaison and support between the accounting group and all other functional areas
- Assistance with the annual budget process
- Projects as assigned by the Controller and CFO
- Multi-State Sales tax analysis
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Self-motivated, assertive, and ability to follow directions.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative and an overall team player
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Able to think creatively and outside the box.
- Problem solving, critical thinking, and working cross-functionally within a team environment.
Summary of Experience and Education:
- Full knowledge of month-end close and financial reporting
- Macola or other ERP system experience
- Accounting experience 2-5 years of experience
- Accounting degree strongly preferred. CPA designation a plus.
- Public Accounting experience a plus
- Advanced Excel skills
