Adcomm MDU is actively seeking a Construction Foreman that will be responsible for overseeing and participating in construction projects related to fiber optics infrastructure in the Miami, FL area. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in construction management, have extensive knowledge of fiber optic installations, and hold valid licenses for operating forklifts and excavators.

Responsibilities: 

• Plan, coordinate, and execute construction projects for internet fiber installations.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
• Utilize forklifts and excavators for constructions taks, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on heavy equipment.
• Enforce safety protocols and compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and training for construction crews.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and property managers.
• Provide regular updates on project progress and communicate effectively with team members.
• Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and equipment logs.
• Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained and up-to-date.

Requirements: 

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or degrees in construction management is a plus.
• Previous experience in a similar role with a focus on Fiber Optic Installations / Satellite Installation.
• Valid driver’s license and certification to operate forklifts and excavators.
• Understand and comply with OSHA regulations. 
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
