Our client is centrally located in the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington Metropolitan Statistical Area and is the 16th largest city in Texas, with a population of 200,640 residents.

Job Summary:
The purpose of this position is to support shelter operations through exceptional service and care of the onsite pet population and customers.
Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Attending to animals in the animal shelter.
2. Cleaning and disinfecting kennels and cages, litter boxes, feeding utensils, pans and equipment.
3. Launder animal bedding and towels, sweeping and mopping floors, removing trash and cleaning dog yards of waste.
4. Provide general care and feeding of animals by feeding, watering, exercising, and bathing.
5. Maintain stock and storage rooms in neat and organized manner.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License.
- Must be able to work flexible schedule, only working 40 hours.
- Must be comfortable with animals.
- At least 6 months experience of animal care and handling.
1. High school Diploma or GED.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
