KSFFA SAFER Grant Marketing Representative
Objective: The SAFER Marketing Representative will be responsible for communicating the benefits of the SAFER grant program currently managed by Adapt across Kansas for the next 12 months. Our Grant program includes:
· Leadership Development/Retention & Recruitment Workshops for Fire Service Leaders
· Volunteer Firefighter Training for All Volunteer Emergency Responders
· PPE and Physicals for New Recruits
· NVFC Membership Dues for Volunteer Emergency Responders
· Local Recruitment Campaigns: Funds are available to offer customized local marketing materials
Candidate and Job Requirements:
· 5 years of progressively responsible experience with a proven track record of successful research, analysis and project management, preferably with some fire service experience.
· Spend at least 15 hours/week dedicated to the grant’s goals and objectives mostly 1 weekend per month plus phone and email follow up. Please see schedule below.
· Travel is required for this position. The ability to travel across Kansas for meetings and conferences for an average of 4 nights per month. Mileage and reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed though the SAFER grant, with detailed travel reports from SAFER Marketing Representative.
· Highly proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
· A valid driver’s license is a condition of initial and continued employment for this position.
Required Events/Activities: The KSFFA SAFER Marketing Representative will be required to schedule time on agendas or be in attendance at each of the following events for the next 12 months. List is subject to additions.

Reporting: TheKSFFA SAFER Grant Marketing Representative will report to Greg Redden of Adapt. All activities must be reported on a weekly basis, including department visits, events attended, phone calls, emails and more.
Employment Terms: 12-month contract begins date of signature below. Part-time salary of $2,000 per month.
