Clinical Support Staff (CSS) will identify and detect clients with behavioral needs in the Dallas County Criminal Justice system, coordinate care on client’s behalf and assist with client-driven exit plans. Clinical Support Staff (CSS) may provide behavioral health assessments with supervision of a licensed staff. Work collaboratively to address the goal of reducing the use of higher levels of care and criminal justice involvement for persons with behavioral health needs.
All activities are to be concurrently documented in the ACS’s electronic medical record (EMR). Hours of employment are limited to the individual’s shift but may vary depending upon the needs of the people we serve. In particular, the Clinical Support Staff (CSS) may be required to complete assessment/intervention and related documentation that extends beyond the normal end of a shift.
Daily Duties:

Skills:
Typing speed of >= 50 wpm
Knowledge and skill operating in a consultation-liaison or collaborative practice management format.
Knowledge of the local / regional behavioral health and safety net system of care.
Ability to navigate and troubleshoot various browser-based applications.
Requirements:
Required: Bachelor's degree in psychology, Social Work, or related field
Required: Individual should qualify as a QMHP (Qualified Mental Healthcare Professional).
Required: Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) clearance (Company will assist in the process.)
Preferred: Individual possesses 3-5 years’ experience in conducting client interviews.
Preferred: bilingual, Spanish speaking
