Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Parts Manager to join our team. As a Parts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the parts department, including procurement, inventory control, and customer service. If you have a strong background in automotive parts and possess excellent leadership skills, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the parts department and ensure smooth operations
- Develop and implement strategies to improve parts department efficiency
- Source and procure parts from various suppliers, including OEMs
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure proper storage and organization of parts
- Oversee the shipping and receiving of parts, ensuring timely delivery
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with parts inquiries and orders
- Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely availability of parts for repairs and maintenance
- Utilize automotive diagnostics knowledge to identify correct parts for specific vehicles
- Monitor and analyze parts sales data to identify trends and make informed purchasing decisions
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to maximize profitability
- Train and supervise parts department staff
