Job description
Adamson Industries Corp. (AIC) is looking to hire Vehicle Accessory Assistant Technicians. Located in Haverhill, Massachusetts. We sell and install emergency vehicle equipment to local and domestic police and fire departments and other emergency vehicle entities. AIC has competitive compensation and employee benefits, such as, health/dental insurance, Simple IRA plan, short-term disability, and paid time off to name a few.
We are looking to add full-time installers to our upfitting team. AIC is looking for skilled, energetic and hard-working automotive upfitters. We install all equipment necessary to modify brand-new vehicles into police and emergency vehicles. This includes routing and installing wire harnesses, controllers, partitions, light bars, push bumpers, trays and consoles. Must be comfortable working in an industrial environment that may require heavy physical duties. Work will involve frequent standing, bending and kneeling. Knowledge of vehicle wiring is a plus but not required.
Requirements:
· Able to identify electrical circuits
· Able to communicate and work well with others
· Meet deadlines to ensure vehicles are completed on-time
· Be prompt and ready to work
· Experience w/installation of emergency lighting desired, but not required
