Adams Trucking is Hiring a DRIVER Near Arbuckle, CA
As a professional Class A, truck driver, you will be responsible for the successful and timely delivery of goods to and from all facilities in which the Adams Group conducts business. Truck drivers must always obey all safety protocols, follow all instructions, and must possess a strong work ethic and have exemplary communication skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Safe operation and control of vehicle
- Proper use of the Samsara ELD system by way of a mounted in can tablet. (We will train new hires!)
- Drive trucks weighing more than 24 tons including tractor/trailer combinations
- Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions
- Couple or uncouple trailers and change landing gear positions, air, and electrical connections, and fifth-wheel locks
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance (refuel, oil, fluids, minor repairs, etc.)
- Pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections
- Report all issues or incidents to supervisor immediately
- Communication and interpersonal skills to work as a team
Requirements:
- Two Years Truck Driving experience
- Valid Class A Drivers License.
- TWIC card (Mandatory for port drayage)
- No DUI or felony convictions less than three years old
- Hard work ethic, integrity, and responsible attitude
- Verbal written and communication skills
- Ability to follow safety procedure and protocol
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
