CNA:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides daily resident care that is person-centered by customizing care as much as possible based on individualized resident needs and values. The CNA takes into consideration each resident’s ability to make own choices and having control over his/her daily lives. The CNA works under the direction of the LPN/RN and assists the nursing team in maintaining the nursing and resident units. Duties may include but are not limited to: bathing, feeding, passing trays, making beds, assisting with ambulation, I&O, weights, and vital signs. The CNA is responsible for charting any care given to the resident.
This position is eligible for a $6,000 sign-on bonus
Care Partner:
The Care Partner position assists with the daily life of the assisted living residents. They assist the Assisted Living Team in maintaining resident care and resident apartments. Duties may include, but are not limited to bathing, medication reminders, cleaning apartments, dining services, delivery of meals to apartments as needed, cleanup and reset of dining room The Care Partner assists with making beds once a week per schedule or as needed, assisting with ambulation for safety and education, laundry pick up as scheduled or as needed, and laundry services: washing, drying and folding and the return to apartment of clothing and bed linens.
The Care Partner is responsible for charting any care given to the resident. The Care Partner is responsible for assisting and serving the residents in a manner that is conducive to their safety and comfort while maintaining a high level of customer service.
The Care Partner is responsible for unlocking and reminding each resident of their medication schedule on time, under sanitary conditions sanitary and record. The Care Partner is responsible for checking in for residents their medication using policies and procedures set up for safety.
The Care Partner is responsible for apartment and bed rounding for safety. They are expected to assess emergency situations and respond accordingly to assist the resident by contacting additional help and or 911 services.
The Care Partner is responsible for being the liaison from resident care to the Powers of Attorneys and or family in charge of the resident.
The Care Partner is expected to follow the instructions issued by the resident’s physician and family directions according to established policies and procedures. The Care Partner is responsible for managing communication of transportation services, and timberlines for the residents and their schedules as it impacts their schedules at Woodcrest Assisted Living. The Care Partner is expected to follow the instructions issued by the Woodcrest Assisted Living Director according to established policies and procedures.
Requirements:
30 hours per week - Second Shift
3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Every other weekend required
Valid CNA license in the State of Indiana is desired but not required
BLS/CPR certification required
Eligible for medical coverage on your first day of employment, all other benefits will be effective the 1st of the month following hire date!
