About Phoenix Job Corps Center

The Phoenix Job Corps Center provides students with the opportunity to earn their High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), and hands-on training in the following areas: Certified Nurse Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, Medical Administration Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Plumbing, Painting, Security and Protective Services, HVAC, Landscaping, Electrical, and Building Construction Technology.

Adams and Associates employs more than 2,000 staff members across the United States. Each year we provide academic, vocational training, and placement services to approximately 9,000 young people from ages 16 to 24 primarily in a residential setting. Our academic and career technical training programs are accredited and lead to national industry-recognized credentials. 

As the Education and Training Director, you will be responsible for managing the Academics and Career Technical Training functions. You will provide oversight of student academic and career technical training programs, ensuring student progress, achievement, and completion of the Job Corps program. Your role will be to provide students with industry-recognized training and credentials that lead to full-time jobs, higher education, or advanced training. It is crucial to ensure the strict confidentiality of sensitive information and the integrity of student data. Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Excellence:

    • Lead the design and implementation of forward-thinking, industry-relevant curricula that inspire and prepare students for success in their chosen fields.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in educational programs.
  • Team Leadership and Empowerment:

    • Inspire and lead a team of dedicated educators and trainers, creating a collaborative and empowering environment.
    • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to ensure the growth and success of the education and training team.
  • Student-Centric Approach:

    • Champion a student-centric philosophy, implementing strategies to enhance student engagement, motivation, and overall success.
    • Develop and implement support services to address the unique needs of our diverse student population.
  • Community Partnerships:

    • Establish and nurture partnerships with local businesses, community organizations, and educational institutions to enrich training opportunities and enhance job placement prospects.
    • Actively engage with the community to build a network of support for our educational initiatives.
  • Data-Informed Decision-Making:

    • Utilize data analytics to assess program effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions to enhance educational outcomes.
    • Provide regular reports on program performance and achievements to leadership and DOL.

Qualifications


  • Bachelors degree from an accredited school required.
  • Masters degree from an accredited school preferred.
  • A minimum of two years experience in teaching or related field required.
  • A valid in State teaching certificate preferred.
  • Prefer Job Corps or related program experience.
