Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Communications Director to join our team! As a Communications Director, you will be working closely with a team of media professionals, marketing experts, and graphic designers to implement an effective communication strategy across multiple channels. You will also ultimately be responsible for the final voice, image, and public perception of the company itself. The ideal candidate has previous experience in a similar role, is comfortable leading a team, and is a strong communicator.
Responsibilities

• Lead a team of communications and marketing professionals
• Establish and maintain a communications strategy in line with the company’s vision and mission
• Manage relations with local and state media
• Be the voice and image of the company

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Communications Director
• Demonstratable ability to manage and lead a team of professionals, including scheduling and problem-solving
• Deep understanding of copywriting, copy editing, graphic design and publishing
• Understanding of social media platforms and basic social media marketing strategies
• Strong communication skills are essential
• The ability to work under tight deadlines and multitask various projects and priorities

Possess one or more of the following active certifications:

• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• GIAC Security Leadership Certification (SANS Institute) (GSLC)
