Applications are now being accepted for a Temporary Administrative Clerk in the Procurement and Contracting Office at Ada County Highway District in Boise, Idaho.

This is a full-time, temporary position for approximately 8 weeks. Desired start date is April 15, 2024, and the hourly wage is DOQ.

Primary Responsibilities:

• The Administrative Clerk will assist with general office duties in support of the Procurement and Contracting Office staff.
• Will also provide information and customer service to the public, contractors, and ACHD employees.
May assist with preparation of Invitations to Bid, Requests for Proposals, and other solicitation types including printing of contracts, specifications, and related procurement documents.

• Qualifications:

• The successful candidate must have a good knowledge of general office practices, procedures, and equipment including telephones, copiers, scanners, and personal computers.
• Requires intermediate experience with Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe as well as the ability to learn business-related software.
• Must be able to provide courteous customer service and respond to public inquiries in a professional manner.
• Accuracy with numbers and data in entry and proofing is essential.
• Or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be acceptable.
