We offer 100% employer-paid benefits and an opportunity to work on cutting edge technologies in a dynamic team!Acutronic is looking for a Quality and Safety Coordinator (QSC) to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you will help administer and continually improve Acutronic Simulation & Test USA’s quality management system and safety program. The QSC will deploy a robust operational strategy to achieve manufacturing consistency, drive continual improvement, and reduce product defects and human error. Our ideal candidate will have at least two years of related experience working with quality systems.
Quality and Safety CoordinatorYour Roles/Responsibilities:
  • Ongoing maintenance and oversight of all ISO-9001-based quality management system policies & procedures
  • Monitor, tracking, and coordination of operational quality issues and projects to ensure effective resolution
  • Process stewardship of the RMA, non-conformance resolution and calibration management processes
  • Lead/participate in root-cause analysis of quality issues to support process owners with corrective measures
  • Run local internal audit program and conduct internal audits and help drive resolution of audit outcomes
  • Identify requirements for documentation and establish workflows to ensure proper handling of records
  • Interface with customers to ensure fulfilment of their quality demands and/or resolution of quality deficiencies including preparing customer-facing documentation
Your Profile/Qualifications/Skills:
  • Associate’s Degree in Quality Management Systems or equivalent certification
  • At least two years of related experience working with quality systems required
  • Exposure to manufacturing, industrial, or process engineering field preferred
  • Additional training or specializations in process improvement, quality assurance/management preferred
  • Experience in project management as well as documentation practices preferred
  • Well versed and experience with ISO 9001 with internal auditor certificate preferred
  • Safety and Environmental experience desired and willingness to develop further in this field
